The archeoscope of Godefroid de Bouillon

History preserved the name of the town mostly by its Lord: Godfrey of Bouillon, who was a general in the First Crusade and the first king of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. He sold Bouillon Castle to the Bishopric of Liège.

Today the designers of the archeoscope did their utmost both in technology and arrangement to create the feeling of the first Crusade: they try to reveal this long go of Duke Godfrey of Bouillon, Peter the Hermit and thousands of crusaders and pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem.

The Brewery of Bouillon

Le marche de Nathalie is the only one brewery in Bouillon, making delicious Belgian beers. The brewery is found „behind” a shop that sells more than 300 different types of Belgian beers of which three are brewed in the brewery proper: Cuvée de Bouillon – Bouillonnaise and Médiévale. 22, Grand Rue.

Animal Park of Bouillon

More than 60 different species are represented in this park: local fauna, but exotic animals as well: stags, boars, deer, lynx, wolves, brown bears, reindeer, waterbuck... And: tigers.
